In this years Christmas in the Village workshop we will forge a knife from a high carbon steel bolt. In this approximately 3 hour long workshop the students will hot forge steel, harden it, then grind and sharpen it into a useable blade. While a beginner can take this workshop, there is a moderate amount of physical forging involved. Under 18 MUST be signed up with a participating parent or guardian. No one under 14 is allowed. 

Each purchase is for 1 person, max 2 people per slot.

Students MUST wear closed toed shoes to the class. Eye protection will be provided and must be worn. It is strongly suggested to wear cotton clothes, as synthetic fabrics can melt and burn.

Classes cannot run late, if you are late you might not finish!

Due to the nature of weather in Garrett county, if it is brutally cold or snowy, classes may be canceled. If the class is canceled due to weather, you will be fully refunded.
